Is your sales process like a hole-in-one - or does it take 7 shots?!

There's an old marketing adage that says a prospect needs to hear or see your marketing message 7 times before they will take action and buy from you. Is this true for you?

Personally with Internet Marketing I have found a much more dynamic rule of one!

The difference between Internet Marketing and say advertising or PR is that on the Internet your prospects are often actively searching for help; searching for a solution to their particular problem, need or challenge.

And your job as a business owner/marketer is to ensure that first of all, those lovely prospects who are searching find your site, and secondly that when they do, they are quickly engaged, informed and motivated enough to contact you straight away or buy something directly from you online. Simple - it can be!

My experience with Internet Marketing is that you can group your web visitors into 3 main groups -

  1. Those who are actively looking for help AND have the money to invest in paying for it!
  2. Those just looking for free information (they love your free reports) with no intention to buy
  3. Those who are browsing, may have the money to spend but are not yet highly motivated to take action

So, when you are planning your Internet and website strategy, is your main aim to just build your list, mainly with people just looking for free information?  Or is your aim primarily to sell your services to people who are actively looking now, whilst at the same time building your list and remaining in contact with those who are interested but maybe not quite ready to buy yet?

Many people think it's impossible for someone to buy from them just as a result of someone visiting their website - I know with absolute certainty that it's not only possible to do on a regular basis but actually quite straight forward when you really understand the mindset of your prospect and have a clear strategy for taking them from visitor to client in a few easy steps.

Do you want to discover the secrets to attracting clients directly through your website and saving you a large part of the selling job? In my How To Turn Your Website Into A Client Magnet I will show you how to do this and much, much more  ......
