Turning passions into profits - CHOC Chick's story!

I feel inspired to write about this lovely lady who came all the way from Brighton on Wednesday to speak to our Guildford Athena ladies networking group.

Why do I feel so inspired by Galia Orme who runs the fabulous and delicious CHOC Chick, raw chocolate kit company?

In brief:

  • Enthusiasm - When I first emailed Galia about speaking for us she was so enthusiastic, despite the long journey and a family to look after. Even from her emails Galia's energy and enthusiasm shone through!
  • Passion! - Galia is incredibly passionate about her business of raw chocolate and it shines through in abundance .... and as you'll notice it's highly infectious!
  • Her success story - Like many in her position, Galia started the business from a passion without really knowing exactly where it would lead. And in fact it was her passion that won her some much needed funding from a friend and catapulted her business onto a new level.
  • Marketing Focus - as a marker it's always encouraging to hear how applying sound marketing techniques and really researching your market before investing in materials and websites, pays off, puts you in great shape for future growth and achieves huge success!
  • Stepping stones to success - From making raw chocolates for family and friends, to selling the kits from her garage, to selling out at a 3-day chocolate fair, to now being a supplier to major stores such as Waitrose - the only way is up!
  • The proof is in the pudding! - the chocolates that Galia kindly made for our group were delicious and VERY healthy!
  • Inspiration - And finally it's Galia's passion as well as her success that makes her an Inspirational speaker - thank you!

I hope you've been inspired by this brief story and if you'd like to know more, and find out how you can enjoy delicious, guilt-free chocolate, visit here website - CHOC Chick
